A ramp supposedly built for wheelchairs users outside a housing complex in Rabat has already been adorned with one fatal flaw: it was built with an electricity pole in the middle of it.

The images of the blocked ramp were shared to social media by independent candidate Arnold Cassola, who lamented at how the country is being led.

“Rabat Ghajn Ghajjet – just put in sparkling new railings,” Cassola sarcastically commented.

The ramp is clearly intended for wheelchair users – particularly as a parking space reserved for Blue Badge holders is situated right in front of it – but it takes some imagination to understand how a wheelchair user would be able to fit past the electricity pole placed right in the middle of the ramp.
