A man was grievously injured after he fell off a wall on Monday afternoon.

The accident took place in Triq il Qaliet, Marsasala, at around 1pm, the police said.

The man, 64, from Qormi, fell while carrying out some works.

He was given first aid on site and was later taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.

Police investigations are ongoing.
