€135,000 donated so far

Ever since its inception, The Foodbank Lifeline Foundation has benefitted from generous grants from The Alfred Mizzi Foundation.

Over the past 6 years The Malta Foodbank Lifeline Foundation has benefitted from €135,000 worth of food from The Alfred Mizzi Foundation which enables it to fulfill its mission of helping those families and individuals who are challenged on a daily basis to put food on the table. The Alfred Mizzi Foundation has committed €36,000  for 2022.

In addition to these grants, The Alfred Mizzi Foundation once again responded to Foodbank Lifeline's appeal for a much needed larger sized van.

This was needed to facilitate the distribution of approximately 300 bags of non perishable food items to 8 different client collection hubs around the Maltese Islands as well as collecting large donations of food from wholesalers, shops, companies etc. To date this new vehicle clocked 14,000 km . This van joins its older sister which was also financed by The Alfred Mizzi Foundation some years back. This  smaller van can be seen on the road collecting smaller sized donations, much needed shopping bags, as well as short shelf life items from donors that will need to be distributed as soon as possible.

Food donations to The Foodbank Lifeline Foundation are most welcome.
