Covid-19: 141 new cases found, one patient dies

The health authorities reported 141 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, with one patient having passed away while positive for the virus.

Figures released show that the total number of cases registered in Malta is now 112,436 of whom 108,171 recovered.

The total number of deaths is now 787, while the number of active cases has dropped to 3,082.

The Health Ministry has stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which show details about the pandemic in Malta.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry’s COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and the details about people who had died are not included in the dataset.
