Covid-19: 98 new cases found, three patients die

The health authorities reported 98 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, with three patients having passed away while positive for the virus.

Figures released show that the total number of cases registered in Malta is now 112,631 of whom 109,046 recovered.

The total number of deaths is now 792, while the number of active cases has dropped to 2,397.

The Health Ministry has stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which show details about the pandemic in Malta.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry’s COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and the details about people who had died are not included in the dataset.
