An e-scooter rider was grievously injured in a hit-and-run accident in Msida early on Friday, the police said.

The accident happened in Dun Karm Psaila Road, Msida, just after midnight.

The rider, a Colombian man aged 32 of St Paul’s Bay was involved in a collision with a car whose driver did not stop.

The police are investigating.
