Two armed and hooded men made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from a gambling outlet in San Gwann on Monday evening.

The police said the armed robbery took place in an outlet in Naxxar Road at 10.45pm.

A cashier, a 30-year-old woman, and a 24-year-old man who were in the outlet at the time were unhurt.

The police are investigating.
