A man is in danger of dying after he fell while carrying out works in a garage in Vittoriosa.

Police said in a statement that a 32-year-old man was injured when he fell around a storey at 11:45am while he was working in a garage in Triq San Lawrenz in Vittoriosa.

The man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment and was there certified as suffering from serious injuries.

Duty magistrate Monica Vella is leading an inquiry, while police investigations are also ongoing.
