Robert Arrigo said that he has just been discharged from Mater Dei Hospital after his fourth chemotherapy session.

In a Facebook post, the former PN Deputy Leader praised the dedicated staff from the oncology department. "They are our pride.2

Arrigo also said that he has eight sessions to go.

"Seeing a small spot of light at the end of a very long and dark tunnel. My 2 cents of advice after staying at Mater Dei; Malta should sign up a deal with a hospital in the UK or the USA. Our equipment is getting older. Their equipment surely changes after two years. Our equipment can be newer by buying their outgoing model."

"We can build on that by sharing medical staff exchanges. People, life is beautiful, and we do not appreciate it enough. I thank all the people who messaged and contacted me. You keep me going."
