A motorcyclist was grievously injured in a collision in Birzebbuga on Wednesday morning.

The police said the accident took place in Birzebbuga Road at 9.30am.

The biker, a 57-year-old man from the locality, was riding a Keeway which was involved in a crash with a Mercedes Benz Citaro driven by a 29-year-old man of St Paul’s Bay.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
