Enemalta has announced the appointment of Inġ. Ryan Fava as the Chairperson of its Board of Directors.

Fava graduated in engineering at the University of Malta and continued his studies at Brunel University London, before working as an engineer for different private companies.

He is serving his fourth consecutive term as the President of the Malta Dockers Union, after he was first elected to the post in 2014.

Commending the company’s employees and management for their diligence and commitment, Fava stated that drawing upon his experience as an engineer and a trade unionist, he looks forward to supporting this team as it continues to improve the quality of service to its customers in Malta and Gozo.

Enemalta wished Fava the best of luck in his role, while also thanking former Chairperson Jonathan Scerri for his contribution to the company’s continued progress.

Scerri resigned due to “personal reasons” in June, having been appointed as Enemalta’s chairperson the previous October.
