Camilleri explained that, "In Gozo the Levant Gozo Music Fest is being staged among other events so that the island continues to be attractive for leisure tourism as we continue to offer high quality activities both for Gozo and also for the Maltese and for the tourists who visit us."

Charles Borg, one of the organizers from the Central Committee of Xewkija, said that Levant Music Fest will close the summer music season in Gozo through a music show with several renowned artists both local and international. The festival will reach its climax through the winner of the Grammy Award, Imanbek, the 20-year-old musician from Kazakhstan who has made a big success in the musical world. Additionally Tribali, The Travellers, Mae, Rubberband and Junior B will also be taking part in this festival.

Camilleri concluded by encouraging all those who love music to attend this festival open to all free of charge. Levant Music Fest is sponsored by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the Ministry for Gozo.
