PL youth section launches INDAQS campaign

The Labour Party youth section on Friday launched the INDAQS campaign.

In a statement, the party said that this campaign will serve as the driving force for the next two years, addressing the theme of equality in its broadest view.

The Labour youth section will be addressing campaigns and proposals on various subjects including sexual health, the inequalities that still exist between men and women, and between the older and younger generations.

The launched of the campaign focused more on the the LGBTIQ+ community.

Addresing the gathering, PL leader Robert Abela said that the country should be proud of the results that it has managed to achieve, but he also spoke about the work that has yet to be done to achieve more in the field of equality.

On the same day of the launch new protocols on blood donation were announced, as members of the LGBTIQ+ community could be also considered as donors.

Abela said that a PL Government has the will and credibility to take the country forward. He ended his speech by saying that change can never stop and pledged his support to young people to continue challenging the status quo.

Present for this launch were also, the European Commissioner for Equality Helena Dalli and the Parliamentary Secretary for Reforms and Equality Rebecca Buttigieg.
