Two motorcyclists were grievously injured in separate accidents in Luqa and St Paul’s Bay on Saturday, the police said.

At 7am, in Council of Europe Street, a biker riding a Honda was involved in a collision with a Toyota Ractis driven by a 37-year-old man of Luqa.

At 8.45am, a biker on another Honda, a man aged 23 of Mellieha, was involved in a crash with a Toyota CH-R driven by a 45-year-old woman of Mosta.

Both were taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
