A Libyan man reported missing by police back in December 2021 has been found safe and sound, some nine months on from when he was last seen.

Police said in a statement on Sunday morning that they had found Alsagheer Mohamed Rajab Ali safe and sound while carrying out some patrols.

Rajab Ali was reported missing from the Santa Marija rehabilitation centre in Luqa last year.

He was last seen on 28 November 2021 and reported missing on 3 December 2021.
