16 new Covid-19 cases were recorded on Monday.

Figures released by the health authorities show that the number of active cases is now 98.

In all, there have been 114,151 cases recorded in Malta, with 112,855 people who recovered.

The number of deaths remains at 802.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
