A video is doing the rounds on social media showing a man seemingly defying the laws governing road safety by standing on top of a moving bus.

The video, uploaded to social media by JeanCarl Cassar shows the man, who was wearing an orange t-shirt, white pants, and a black backpack, first crouching, then standing on top of the moving Malta Public Transport bus.

The bus was passing through Pieta at the time of the incident, which was filmed on Thursday morning.

A Malta Public Transport spokesperson told MaltaToday that the incident has been reported to the police.
