We’ve been saying for months, if not years, that the mentality that “anything goes” has unfortunately become ingrained in this country.

Now we’re turning things upside down too.

This photo was captured in Republic Street, Valletta, showing the number plate on the official car used by a member of Cabinet.

The GM 23 plate, as you can see, was wrongly affixed.

We do not know how long it stayed like this, but it was long enough for another embarrassing moment.

There will be, of course, some who will defend the indefensible. After all, “anything goes” no?
