17 new Covid-19 cases were registered on Sunday.

There are currently 222 active Covid cases in the country. No more deaths have been reported.

Since the start of the pandemic, Malta has had 114,567 Covid-19 cases, of which 113,145 recovered. 804 people have died while positive with the virus in total.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
