22 new Covid-19 cases registered

22 new Covid-19 cases were registered in Malta on Tuesday, and no more deaths were reported.

There are currently 237 active cases.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 114,605 Covid cases in the country, of which 113,168 have recovered. 804 people have died while positive with the virus.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta the day after the March 2022 general election.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
