A Polish woman was grievously injured when she was hit by a glass object in St Julian’s early on Monday morning.

The police said that the incident took place in an establishment in St George’s Road at 3.30am.

The Polish woman, aged 22, and resident in St Julian’s, was hit by a glass object by a person who fled the scene. She was taken to hospital for treatment.

The identity of the aggressor is unknown.
