The dinosaur displays which were set up in Valletta in summer cost €17,100.

This was revealed in a parliamentary question made by PN MP Julie Zahra, who asked Tourism Minister Clayton Bartolo about the cost of the display, as well as their primary goal, and if this goal had been achieved.

Bartolo said that the display of dinosaurs in the city served as an attraction, which was given publicity in the international media, including that in the United States of America.

He said that it was intended to assimilate the film with the locations in which it was made, reflected prominently in the Hollywood blockbuster.

Bartolo said that the decision was part of an important publicity campaign at the height of the film's success, the first blockbuster to specifically mention Malta in some of its most beautiful scenes.

He said that this was another step forward to expand the tourist niche of iScreen Tourism in the country, as evidenced by the large number of photos taken with the same display by foreigners, who had then uploaded it on social media.
