There were 17 new Covid-19 cases recorded in Malta, health authorities said Friday.

This takes the total number of cases reported in Malta to 114,822, of whom 113,344 recovered.

The number of deaths remains at 806, while the number of active cases is now 276.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
