Twenty-three new Covid-19 cases were registered on Tuesday, as no new deaths were again recorded.

This leaves the total number of deaths at 806. No deaths have been reported for 14 days.

The total number of Covid-19 cases is now 114,910, with 113,403 recoveries.

The number of active cases is now 305. It is the first time since 19 August that we have surpassed 300 active cases.

The Health Ministry stopped publishing daily bulletins on social media which display details about the pandemic in Malta.

Data is still being published by the Health Ministry's COVID-19 Public Health Response Team on an open-source database on the platform GitHub, although certain details, such as the number of positive Covid-19 cases in hospital and details about people who died, are not included in the dataset.
