A car ended up overturned at the Tal-Qroqq skate park after the driver lost control, the police said.

The accident took place in Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street, Msida, on Thursday at 10.45pm.

The driver, a man aged 29 of Hamrun, lost control of the car he was driving, a Smart, and crashed over the barriers into the skate park.

He was certified to have suffered grievous injuries.
