A driver was hurt when he lost control of the car he was driving and crashed into a tree.

The accident happened on Thursday at 6.15am in Mikiel Anton Vassalli Street, St Julian’s.

The driver, a 35-year-old man from Xghajra, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

He was driving a Ford Fiesta.
