Tuesday, 15 November 2022, 17:15 Last update: about 2 years ago

Finance Minister Clyde Caruana said that only €35 was spent by the finance ministry on social media adverts regarding the recent Budget.

Answering a parliamentary question made by PN MP Eve Borg Bonello, who asked the Minister how much was spent, particularly on social media, Caruana said that a mere €35 was spent on social media adverts.

Yesterday in parliament, the PN asked an oral parliamentary question to government, as to how much money was spent on advertising the Budget 2023. The PN claimed that the figure was around €200,000. Government had asked the Opposition to file the parliamentary question in writing.
