The PN's Executive committee has approved the nomination of Victor Vella to be co-opted as a local councillor in St Julian's.

Vella was nominated for the co-option after all other candidates to have contested the 2019 election for the Nationalist Party had already been elected to Parliament. ADPD's Carmel Cacopardo had contested the casual election but did not achieve the quota.
