A biker was grievously injured in an accident on the Birkirkara by-pass on Sunday morning.

The accident took place at 6.15am, involving a Ford Fiesta driven by a woman aged 52 of Dingli, and the biker, who was riding a Honda PCX.

The biker, aged 45 of Birkirkara, was taken to hospital for treatment.
