Iranian national injured in argument in St Julian’s

An Iranian national was injured in an argument in St Julian’s on Monday night, police said in a statement.

Police said that they were informed of an argument at around 10:30pm in Triq San Gorg in St Julian’s on Monday night.

Preliminary investigations showed that there had been an argument between a 27-year-old Iranian who lives in Sliema and another man who fled the scene after the argument.

A medical team assisted that Iranian and he was taken by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Police said that investigations are on going.
