A man was injured after a horse bolted in Gudja this morning, the police said,

The man, aged 70 of Gudja, fell off the carriage when the animal bolted.

The horse was later control by some passers-by.

The man was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.

The accident happened in Victor Pasmore Street at 10.15am.
