On Wednesday 14 December at 6:45pm the Gżira Parish Church will be the venue of a book launch of "Dun Carlo Manché, Fi Kliem Niesu". This book gives an account of the life and times of the late Rev. Carlo Manché, who from 1935 to 1950 was the Parish Priest of Gżira. The book contains real-life stories and events directly related to this saintly and charitable priest as unfolded by people who were close to him.  

The Auxiliary Bishop Mons Joe Galea Curmi will be attending, together with relatives of Rev Carlo including his brother Rev Alfred Manché.

A musical performance by the well-known harpist Jacob Portelli will be part of this event. Three poems about Dun Carlo written by Joe Julian Farrugia, Joe Borg and Ivan Debattista will also be read.  The Santa Ċeċilja Choir is also taking part.

Everybody is invited. Entrance is free.
