Italian journalist and TV presenter Maurizio Costanzo has died, Italian media report.
He was 84 years old.
Born in Rome in 1938, Costanzo anchored several radio and television shows, reaching great popularity in 1976 with his show on Rai “Binta loro”.
He later presented the Maurizio Costanzo Show on Mediaset as from 1982, and also conducted Buona Domenica.
He was also the author of several books.
He had married Maria de Filippi in 1995.
