Din L-Art Helwa Ghawdex has highlighted the destruction of an old barunbara, caused by recent storms.

"This beautiful centuries-old barumbara was situated in the Belliegħa area at the outskirts of Victoria. It was already in a bad state and with the last storm. It was completely destroyed except the bottom part of one corner," the NGO said on Facebook.

"Another Gozo heritage architecture destroyed because of abandonment and lack of appreciation of Gozitan vernacular architecture."
