San Giljan ASC have been crowned waterpolo winter league champions for the fifth time in the club's history.

In the final game of the competition on Saturday, San Giljan overcame arch-rivals Neptunes 12-6.

San Giljan had already won the winter league in 1995, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

San Giljan have been unbeaten in the five games played.

The St Julian's club has this year also won the Enemed Cup, with seven wins out of seven games.
