Transport Malta is convinced that, in the coming days, collective agreement discussions will conclude "in the best interest of our workers and the authority itself," a statement it issued read.
The CEO of Transport Malta Jonathan Borg is holding regular meetings with representatives of UĦM - Voice of the Workers, to continue discussions related to a new collective agreement with authority workers, it read.
The UHM recently escalated industrial action over the "unacceptable" two-year delay to sign a new collective agreement. The industrial action meant that if a TM enforcement officer had to stop someone from breaking the law, they had been ordered to only issue a warning.
