An elderly man was seriously injured on Friday when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with another vehicle, the police said.
The accident took place in Marfa Road, Mellieha, at 2.30pm.
The elderly man, a 75-year-old St Paul’s Bay resident, was driving a Ford Ka which was involved in a crash with a Peugeot Expert driven by a 29-year-old German man.
The 75-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Magistrate Joe Mifsud is leading an inquiry.
