MGA donated €170,000 to Marigold Foundation between 2015 and 2019

The Malta Gaming Authority donated €170,000 to the Marigold Foundation between 2015 and 2019, information tabled in Parliament by Economy Minister Silvio Schembri shows.

The foundation is chaired by Michelle Muscat, who was the wife of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat at the time.

Schembri was responding to a Parliamentary Question by PN MP Claudette Buttigieg, who asked for the financial value of donations given to the Marigold Foundation by entities falling under his remit since 2014.

In addition, the information tabled shows that the Lands Authority donated €1,775 in 2019, €371.80 in 2021 an €1,285 in 2022.

INDIS donated €5,000 in 2017 and another €5,000 in 2019.

Mimcol donated €800.
