A man was critically injured on Thursday morning in a fall on a construction site in Swieqi, the police said.
The accident took place in Santu Wistin Street at 9.30am.
The man, aged 50, of Tarxien, fell one storey, the police said.
Magistrate Astrid May Grima is leading an inquiry.
