Marsaskala ESC will play in the Premier Division for the second time in the last three seasons after defeating Exiles Welbee’s in a crucial game. They finished Group A with seven points like Marsaxlokk, but they finished third in the group due to a better goal difference after both teams finished 10‐10 in the direct en‐ counter.

Exiles built a two‐goal advan‐ tage in the first part of the first session but midway through the second session, Marsaskala went 6‐4 in front after a hat‐trick by Bence Batori. Exiles were brave enough to react and in the last two minutes of the session they equalised after goals from Mark Fenech and Sean Xerri de Caro both from man‐ups.

Guillermo Molina and Valentino Gallo even put Exiles two goals in the lead in the be‐ ginning of the third session. They kept this advantage till the end of the session, despite Marsaskala’s late surge by Mark Carani and Jake Ciantar.

Arpad Babay’s team was deter‐ mined to turn the tables in the last session and they managed in style. Ferenc Salamon pulled one back, Jake Ciantar equalised and Ferenc Salamon put Marsaskala in the lead from penalty. Max Aquilina equalised from man‐up but Daniel Tully and Jake Ciantar gave Marsaskala the important three points.
