Applications for the free SEC Revision Classes close on Tuesday 18th July at 10am, JobsPlus has said.

"For the tenth consecutive year, the applications for free SEC Revision Classes have launched. These are organised by the Youth Guarantee Project and funded through the European Union. These classes are aimed for students who will be sitting for their September resits in Biology, English, Maltese, Mathematics and Physics," it said in a statement.

The Free SEC Revision Classes was first launched in 2014, and since then have supported over 5000 students to achieve their desired results year after year. "Through this investment, the students are assisted and encouraged to continue their journey through education. The classes will start on the 24th July and will continue for five weeks until the end of August. Students between the ages of 15 and 24 years old and who achieved a mark 6, 7, U, or were absent in one of the five main subjects mentioned above, are eligible to apply for these classes."

The students will be able to attend the classes in one of the four centres around Malta and Gozo (Mosta, Blata l-Bajda, Paola and Rabat, Gozo), and can choose to attend a maximum of three subjects, including one science subject (Biology or Physics)."

When applying for the Revision Classes, the students would not be applying automatically for their resit exams, and thus they would need to apply seperately for their resit through MATSEC as well.

This scheme is co-funded by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus.
