An elderly man is in danger of dying after suffering serious injuries when he fell off a ladder.

Police said that the man had been taken to Mater Dei Hospital at around 7:15pm on Monday evening after an accident at a residence in Triq Axtart in Marsaxlokk

Investigations showed that the man, who is 78 years old, fell off a ladder.

He was certified as suffering from serious injuries.

Police said that investigations are ongoing.
