If you’re feeling hot, there’s some bad news for you, as temperatures are not going down any time yet.

The Met Office is forecasting temperatures to remain at a steady high of 41 degrees Celsius until Monday (a feel like of 42), and will reach even higher at 42 degrees on Tuesday (feel like 43) before returning to 41 on Wednesday (see table below)

People are urged to avoid being in the sun for long stretches, in particular during the peak hours, and to drink lots of water while wearing light clothes.
