NEPTUNES VIDEOSLOTS SIRENS 21-10

(6-3), (6-1), (5-2), (4-4)

A third consecutive win for Neptunes against an opponent from the second part of the Premier League table. Like their previous wins against Valletta and Marsaskala, Neptunes were always in control as the gap between these teams is huge.

A brace by Filip Filipovic paved the way for a 4-1 lead for Neptunes. Sirens reacted and pulled two goals back with goals from their foreigners Matyas Pasztor and Pietro Figlioli. But Neptunes made sure to build a solid foundation for the next sessions as Jake Muscat and Aleksandar Ivovic regained the three-goal lead for Neptunes.

Mark Castillo and Stevie Camilleri stretched the lead for Neptunes to five goals in the beginning of the second session. Pasztor could only stop partially the momentum for Neptunes as they scored another four goals from four different players to finish the second session 12-4.

As if it wasn’t enough, Neptunes continued to widen the gap during the third session.

Marco Rossi replaced Alan Borg Cole in goal while Dorian Pisani conducted the usual rotation in the team. Stevie Camilleri, Filipovic and Jake Bajada continued to show the difference between both teams with another three goals. Sirens could only reduce the gap twice until Jake Muscat made the score 17-6.

The last session was a formality. The rotation in the team of Dorian Pisani continued, also resting his foreigners while other fringe players got also their moment.

Sirens managed to at least limit the damage by drawing the last session. Jake Cachia, Ken Erdogan, Paul Serracino and Gianni Farrugia all scored for Sirens while Mark Castillo, Stevie Camilleri, Alec Fenech and Jordan Camilleri found the net for Neptunes.
