A man from Turkey died following a medical emergency while on a boat in Mgarr harbour on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 3.30pm.

The 55-year-old man was given assistance by a medical team but he was pronounced dead on scene.

Magistrate Brigitte Sultana is leading an inquiry into the death.
