In Christian and political Right Wing circles, a vociferous movement is emerging exposing what mainstream media (T.V. networks, newspapers and social media) usually shy away from. They consider their views as no mere conspiracy theories but are based on real facts.
This feature examines the strong globalisation and new world order movement with its liberal, feminist, anti-family and pro-immigration policies that are the hallmarks of this age and what is being done to counteract it.

New Political Parties
It was about a century ago in the 1880s when political parties started to be formed in Malta. There was a time in Malta’s political history when parliament had representatives from several political parties. Splits within parties, defections from one party to another and new parties are common in a healthy democratic society.
Over the past 25 years, Malta witnessed the formation of new political parties such as ABBA, Imperium Europa, Partit Popolari and others. It seems that the support base of these parties are disgruntled persons who are no longer attracted or attached to the policies of the two political parties represented in parliament (PL and PN). There is an estimated 70,000 protest voters and non-voters, who have lost hope in political allegiance to the two main political parties. These voters are the largest target audience being wooed by the emerging political parties.
These new parties see the two main parties as having betrayed their original ideological beliefs on which they were founded. The PN and PL are also being viewed, mainly, in collusion with each other on many matters which touch upon the family, the environment, construction, immigration and other significant issues.
These small parties do not see the PN as anymore adhering to the original Patria et Religio Christian principles whilst the PL is considered as having lost its soul and veered away from its core foundational beliefs by endorsing a capitalist socio-economic model based on mass cheap labour. In the process, it has gradually forgotten its working-class roots.
The Far Left
These new, but small parties, perceive a global hidden agenda of the Far-Left as wanting to be in power permanently, stripping off the rights from citizens through pro-abortionist funding policies, attacking the family, Christianity and freedom on a world-wide basis. Their paradigm is that a new world order is in the making leading to a one-world government body with totalitarian powers.
Far Right parties are in favour of protecting the unborn and legislation in favour of the traditional family. These issues are high on the agenda of these parties. They also see Gay Pride and LGBTIQ as indoctrinating children to gender ideology as well as a tyranny of a minority who force gender ideology on children who are too young to make decisions for themselves.
The social media is full of material revealing dissent against these activities. There is also a high degree of criticism towards the government which has forked out millions of Euros out of people’s taxes so that Malta hosts the annual Gay Pride 2023 between 7 September and 17 September.
The Right Wing
At the other end of the political spectrum, we are experiencing a movement that is all out in defence of the family. Perhaps no better person than Italy’s Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni captured the essence of how the Right-Wing side of the political spectrum spells out its world view and paradigm.
This is a translation of Meloni’s recent speech:
“Why is the family an enemy so frightening? It defines us: it is our identity. Everything that defines us is an enemy for those who would like us to no longer have an identity and to simply be perfect consumer slaves. So they attack national identity, religious identity, gender identity and family identity so I can’t identity myself as Italian, Christian, woman and mother.
I must be citizen X, gender X, parent 1 and parent 2. I must be a number because when I am only a number, I no longer have an identity or roots. Then I will be the perfect slave at the mercy of financial speculators; the perfect consumer.
That’s the reason why we inspire so much fear because we do not want to be numbers. We will defend the value of the human being: every single human being. Because each of us has a unique code that is unrepeatable. And like it or not, that is sacred. We will defend it. We will defend God, country and family: those things that disgust people so much.
We will do it to defend our freedom because we will never be slaves and simply consumers at the mercy of the financial speculators.
Chesterton, a hundred years ago, wrote:
‘Fire will be kindled to testify that two and two make four.
Swords will be drawn to prove that leaves are green in summer’.
That time has arrived. We are ready”.
Meloni is undoubtedly referring to some of the issues that give rise to concern on a world-wide basis and include the anti-family, anti-Christian, pro-abortionist and pro-LGBTIQ propaganda. Some Far-Leftists are even going to the extreme of encouraging the normalisation of paedophilia.
It is not only Christians and Right-Wing political parties that are seeking to protect their children from LGBTIQ and other measures. For instance, in Montgomery County, Maryland (just north of Washington, DC), a lawsuit has been instituted by parents from Christian, Muslim, and Jewish backgrounds.
These parents have rallied together and are accusing the school district of denying them the right to determine the religious education of their children. Books at the centre of the dispute are for Pre-K and elementary-school levels. Two of the objectionable books are Pride Puppy, a “queer-centric alphabet book,” and Uncle Bobby’s Wedding, in which a girl’s uncle marries his boyfriend.
Both the above are seen as an illustration of the ongoing attempt to normalise LGBTIQ behaviour starting with the youngest children. The superintendent and school board chose not to notify parents or allow them to opt their children out of these and other LGBTIQ materials in class.
Where it comes to movies, some Right Wing politicians have labelled the Barbie movie as diabolical, liberal, feminist, pro-abortion and anti-family. Right Wing supporters argue that extreme feminism is so strong that even the voice of men is silenced in the abortion decision when many men also suffer when a woman aborts.
Mainstream Media
We live in an age where mainstream media is viewed by many as manipulated by the forces of organisations such as the Planned Parenthood and others like the Soros-funded European Parliamentary Forum on Sexual Reproductive Rights (EPF). Other funding includes pro-immigration assistance to fill Europe with cheap labour where people are reduced to mere modern ‘slaves’.
Mainstream media is considered as presenting biased and fake news that favours globalist billionaire donor groups, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN elites, all pulling their strings. Quality, investigative journalism that scrutinises the whole news spectrum suffers at a time when money, digital platforms and governments control the news.
COVID-19 Pandemic
Another aspect that Right Wing parties see as manipulated to suit big business, totalitarian tendencies and large pharmaceutical companies is the COVID-19 pandemic. They consider the pandemic as a gigantic test balloon to see how far it is possible to get free individuals in a free and democratic society to consent and be enforced into compliance.
Their view is that the goal of COVID-19 is not about the pandemic per se but an attempt at transforming societies into totalitarian (Far Left) societies, stripping each citizen of fundamental rights, freedom, democracy and the rule of law. Right Wing parties also consider the global negotiation of the Pandemic Treaty, which is drawing close, as giving (WHO) powers to declare emergencies, expand surveillance, control public health and impose measures like lockdowns, business closures, and vaccination mandates.
The COVID-19 is seen as not having anything do with public health but control by a globalisation elite. They argue that we need to stop rationalizing the idea that what governments are doing is out of good intentions. Their raison d’etre is that in the history of mankind there has never been a political elite concerned about the well-being of regular people. And it is no different now. You cannot comply your way out of a tyranny and they strongly appeal to end the deafening silence, to stop complying and rebel.
