PN approves two new candidates for June European Parliament elections

The Nationalist Party’s executive committee on Friday has approved another two candidates for the European Parliament elections, taking place on 8 June next year.

Norma Camilleri and Louise Anne Pulis will be joining MEPs Roberta Metsola and David Casa, and other candidates David Agius, Peter Agius and Miriana Testaferrata de Noto, who were approved earlier this year.

Norma Camilleri is a Speech-Language Pathologist and is committed to improving society as she believes that essential services, such as health care, are a basic human rights. Camilleri is the CEO of the Malta Federation of Professional Associations (MFPA), where she works among others on local projects and also in partnership with other countries thanks to funds from the European Union.

Norma is also involved in volunteering, particularly as President of the European Association of Speech and Language Therapy (ESLA) and also President of the Maltese Association of Speech-Language Pathologists (ASLP). She represents the Health, Elderly and Pensioners sector in the Civil Society Committee within the Maltese Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD), as well as a member of the Maltese Council for the Voluntary Sector (MCVS). She is also a musician with a particular love for culture and the performing arts.

She is married to Andre and they have a daughter.

LouiseAnne Pulis is a Lawyer and has a Master's in Human Rights and in democratic and demographic systems. She cares about the most vulnerable people in society, particularly because she has a family member who suffers from autism and therefore witnessing first hand their challenges.

LouiseAnne is married and has two children.
