A biker was injured on Saturday morning in a collision at Qrendi, the police said.

The accident took place in Hagar Qim Road at 6.30am.

It involved a Toyota Passo, driven by a 24-year-old woman of Qrendi, and a Peugeot Tweet.

The biker, a French man aged 29, was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
