A biker was grievously injured on Tuesday evening when he lost control of the two-wheeler he was riding and crashed into a tree, the police said.

The accident took place in Mqabba Road, Mqabba at 11pm.

The biker, a man aged 55 of Luqa, lost control of the Honda he was riding and crashed into a tree.

He was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
