30-Hour non-stop radio broadcast marathon: A heartfelt journey in aid of Puttinu Cares

Thursday, 19 October 2023, 09:51 Last update: about 3 years ago

Calypso Radio is set to embark on a 30-hour live broadcast marathon this weekend, championing the cause of Puttinu Cares, the radio station said,

The live broadcast, hosted by Gordon Pace, will commence at 11am on Saturday morning and conclude at 5pm on Sunday.

The primary objective of this marathon broadcast is to generate €5,000 in donations, enabling Puttinu Cares to purchase one bedroom for one of the apartments in their new London facility. These apartments will serve as sanctuaries for patients and their loved ones, providing solace and support during challenging times.

Everyone is encouraged to contribute through multiple channels. Donations can be made via telephone, online platforms, or in person at the Calypso Radio studio and offices in Luqa. As an exciting bonus, individuals visiting the studios will have the unique opportunity to meet and capture memories with some of Malta's most beloved artists, including Brikkuni, Sterjotipi, The Travellers, Michael Azzopardi, Kersten Graham, Kym Pepe, and Drakard.

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer to realising Pttinu Care’s vision.
